The holy Baal Shem Tov teaches that at night, with our Torah study we bedeck the Shekhinah in her finery. By day, with our tefilot (prayers), we escort her to her “Husband” (as it were).
But this all happens only if we are careful to not speak any unholy, profane or non-sacred word, from the moment we begin learning Torah Shavuot night until after Musaf of Shavuot day.
