Building on the previous post on How to Learn Likutey Moharan, here is a piece from Crossing The Narrow Bridge, A Practical Guide To Rebbe Nachman’s Teachings (Page 427-428) by The Breslov Research Institute.

The following is a suggested sequence by which to approach the works of Breslover Chassidut. Three separate schedules have been provided, based on your background in Judaism in general, and your ability to understand Hebrew texts. What is common to all three is the recitation of the prayers in Lekutey Tefilot, as these heartfelt prayers will open the way to the heart.

A. For those with no (or limited) background:
1) Rabbi Nachman’s Wisdom
2) Advice
3) Untill the Mashiach
3) Outpouring of the Soul, Resore My Soul
4) Azamra, Tsohar
5) Rabbi Nachman’s Stories
6) The Aleph-Bet Book
7) Mayim: Ayeh?
8 ) Tzaddik
9) Rabbi Nachman’s Tikkun

B) For those with some background:
1) Rabbi Nachman’s Wisdom
2) Advice
3) Outpouring of the Soul, Resore My Soul
4) Rabbi Nachman’s Stories
5) Azamra, Tsohar; Mayim Ayeh?; Tefilin
6) Likutey Morahan; Tzadik; The Aleph-Bet Book
7) Rabbi Nachman’s Tikkun
8 ) Untill the Mashiach

C) For those with (some) knowledge of Hebrew:
1) Rabbi Nachman’s Wisdom
2) Advice
3) Outpouring of the Soul, Resore My Soul
4) Rabbi Nachman’s Stories; Yemey Moharnat
5) Likutey Morahan; The Aleph-Bet Book (Hebrew version with sources)
6) Tzaddik; Kitzur Likutey Morharan; Alim Litrufah
7) Rabbi Nachman’s Tikkun
8 ) Untill the Mashiach
9) Likutey Halakhot

Our Sages taught: “Luck is he who comes here (to Heaven) with his studies in his hand” (Pesachin 50a). When our days on this earth have come to an end, we will all appear before the heavenly Court. The “luggage” we will carry with us will consist of whatever Torah study and good deeds we performed during our lifetimes. Reb Noson said, “The study mentioned certainly applies to Rebbe Nachman’s works” (Oral Tradition). Happy is he who “packs” Rebbe Nachman’s teachings to take on his final journey.
