Good News!

First of all, we are on the verge of updating our web site. All the information and services that are currently available will remain. In addition to the new look the site will have, we hope to add much more new content in a variety of areas. Stay tuned—I mean, wired! :-)

The second piece of good news is that our humble web site has been recognized as one of the top 500 sites on the Jewish web. We received this recognition in Mr. Irving Green's recent book “Judaism on the Web” published by MIS Press.

Chat and Conference

It is now possible to have a chat and/or "conference" (f2f) session with another Breslover. If you are familiar with how chat sessions work, contact me at the e-mail address below to make a date. If you don't have chat-ware, keep it that way. You'll be better off.

e-kvittel at the Western Wall

It is a time-honored Chassidic tradtion to give a kvittel to a tzaddik (righteous person). A kvittel is a piece of paper containing one's name and what one wishes to have prayed on his behalf. (See below for further guidelines.) I make no claims or pretenses to be a tzaddik but I will accept an e-kvittel for anybody who cares to send one and pray for them at the Western Wall. Click here to get your e-kvittel to me.

The classic form for a kvittel is to write your full Hebrew name and that of your MOTHER (not father). E.g., Moshe Dovid ben Leah Bracha; Tova Devora bat Rivka Rachel. If you don't know your Hebrew, or that of your mother, write your/her English name.

After that, list what you would like prayed for: health, an improved domestic situation, more faith in God and His Torah, etc. You may include others in your kvittel. To assist the kvittel one should give charity to a worthwhile Jewish cause (a poor family, a Torah institution and the like). See the end of the dvar Torah on parshat Ki Tavo 5756 for more about this. Hoping to hear from you!
