A Matter of Perception

Once there was a great tzaddik, who had thoroughly and totally overcome his sexual desires, in the ideal way. He ascended to lofty spiritual realms. He saw a pot containing flesh and bones and asked, “What is this?”

He was answered, “This was once an extremely beautiful woman. Because she would warm up her body to sin, she is being ‘warmed’ here.” He was curious to see her. He was given Divine Names that would reassemble her as she had been. He saw that she had been a very great beauty.

From this we should understand how degrading this desire is. If a woman were cut into pieces, would this lust be apropos?...
