We are presenting collected letters of Reb Noson , the outstanding
disciple of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. (Letters printed in Eternally
Yours )
#70
With thanks to God, Wednesday, Shemini, 5592.
Greetings to my dear, beloved son, Reb Yitzchak, may
his light shine.
I received your letter. The carrier of this letter has come
a long
way and is bringing a letter with news from Reb Mordekhai's brother.
Witness the wonders of God! I have already given my letter to the
carrier and for my own reasons I have left it unsealed. I have also
given him books to deliver. May God give me the merit of spreading
the Rebbe's teachings and of bestowing his good on the entire world.
Because everyone needs the benefit of his instruction and all the
worlds, this one in particular, depend on it. May God have
mercy on us and on all Israel. May the verse: "Give truth to
Jacob"
(Micah 7:20) be fulfilled with the revelation of the truth
in the world.
The revelation of the teachings of the Rebbe and everything
connected
to it are events of the most exalted significance. It is impossible
to measure or express even what I know in my heart regarding this.
How much more does this apply to what is hidden from me! The whole
matter is deep beyond all conception. The intensity of this whole
controversy is absolutely unprecedented! "We know not what
to
do, but our eyes are upon You." I am writing all this so that
you realize how determinedly you must fortify and awaken yourself
anew every day, since we have been privileged with a glimpse of
absolute
truth. Thank God Who has helped us thus far! Who opened our eyes
to
such a great light! If you did not, as you wrote, really rejoice
last
Purim, then from now on at least fill yourself with joy every day,
especially during these months of Adar and Nisan. They are the days
of Israel's redemption, when we fulfill so many Commandments in
our
preparation for the holy Pesach. Do everything you can to make all
your preparations for Pesach with the utmost happiness and joy,
that
we are able to prepare ourselves to eat matzah on Pesach and to
carry
out God's desire. This is our life and the length of our days! Please
be quick about sending me what I need for the talit, Pesach is approaching
fast.
The words of your father, hoping to hear all good from
you and praying for you.
Noson of Breslov
